Hopefully will premier at the Sundance and SXSW Film Festival once finished with the final product. Biggest project by Angry Student Productions/Project The Mind Studio has ever worked on.

Check this movie out, it's called Evergreen Tapes and the story is this:

A house caught on fire in Santa Barbara, USA. After the fire was extinguished, a dead male body was found next to 3 tapes. The cause of the fire was unknown - until the tapes were further investigated.

The ultimate debate... did God create us? Were we meant to be as dysfunctional and broken up as we are? Are we an experiment? A mistake? Or did we simply create God to explain things that we cannot and have a being to blame our misfortunes on?

Something Within

There is something about him. Something within.

He looks up and catches my eye. His short and simple dark reddish-brown hair is cropped; the top layers

are roughly cut, showing his high forehead of intelligence. His big lips are sealed and tight; afraid to echo any word. It is as if he is pleading in pain, hoping for someone to glance his way and realize how tortured he is feeling. He pleads for someone’s help but he just cannot speak up. Most importantly is the way he is staring at me, like a sharp dagger. His dark and mysterious hazel eyes are clawing into me and from a distance I can see the reflection of myself. A huge transformation sweeps over him.

He turns into a relaxed yet enigmatic figure that freezes like a statue, trying not to take his gaze from me as I am trying to pass by and follow my path of life. As I walk by, I feel like leaving a piece of my highlight right here, right now; knowing that I have a choice to figure this unknown beast out or to forget that he is ever there – hypnotizing me. I peek back at him one last time and my stomach tightens as my eyes find the motionless creature; staring at me with a sly readable smile.

A flash. A scream of fear. A gasp of innocence. This moment is blind and full of chaos. In a second everything becomes frantic. I start to feel the ground shake, erupting its anger on our citizen for no reason at all. I look down on the ground, thinking whether it is just me getting dizzy, but it is the road. It is the busy road that gets squished by the cars and never utters any word of pain and torture. It finally rages its anger at us and I nearly lose my balance as I try to reach the pavement full of worried faces that command the others to get out from the zebra crossing. Between my feet I see the concrete crack. That’s when I hear an alarming cry from the cars as they try to stop their way from hitting us.

There it is. A sign for me to leave and walk to stairway of heaven. No goodbyes and no tears needed. I close my eyes and in any second I will sense a car hitting me. But nothing comes. Just the gasps silencing the atmosphere. As I open my eyes, I hear his hard breathing bringing me back to life. He was here, holding me tightly, afraid to let me go. I realize that I am collapsed on the other side of the road, and he is beside me; his strong arms wrapped around me. He stood me up; his gentle hands barely touching mine, like a virus to him. Our eyes meet once more; his is full of energy and adrenaline. He nods to me – perhaps his sign of saying ‘you’re welcome’, glances away from me and just leaves. He leaves me here, shocked and confused. He leaves me in front of the whole crowd without saying anything at all.

There is indeed something about him. Something within.
